This is an incredibly important film that everyone, especially those who live in the U.S. and who believe that they live in a democracy or that they live in a country that supports human rights or that they live in a country that allows freedom, should see.
Freedom isn’t having twenty brands of (mostly) toxic toothpaste, dozens of cancer-feeding, sugar-filled drinks and hundreds of genetically-modified, pesticide-infested, chemically enhanced quasi-food “products” to choose from at the grocery store. It isn’t having a multitude of life-destroying fossil fuel vehicles to choose from to selfishly drive while we choke on toxic fumes, then buy toxic chemicals to treat our breathing. It isn’t having hundreds of channels of corporate indoctrination and dysfunctional social conditioning to watch on television and other various electronic devices designed to keep us tame. It isn’t having two corporate puppets to “choose” between in (S)elections.
It’s having the right to our own minds instead of selling them to the highest bidders. It’s retaining the intelligence and integrity to be informed of what’s going on in our country and around the world and being able to perceive right from wrong and not support dictators, genocidal maniacs and corporate prostitutes – and calling them leaders.
Let’s take a look at ourselves a little more often and stop obeying the demands of narcissists and psychopaths. It’s not only a matter of moral courage and integrity, it’s survival.
