The World Is Watching

Palestinians run for cover from tear gas during clashes with Israeli security forces near Gaza border, May 14, 2018

Fifty eight Palestinians were brutally murdered by the Israeli war machine this past Monday, May 14th. This was, according to Israeli newspaper Haaretz, “the bloodiest day of the protests by far, as Israeli security officials had predicted.”

Hmmm, as Israeli “security” officials predicted.

Did they see the potential for extreme violence and reach out to Palestinian leaders in an attempt to avoid violence or did they prepare their overly aggressive military police for a military intervention?

Approximately 35,000 people were demonstrating, trying to raise awareness about Israeli violence against unarmed civilians. Others were justifying the violence and praising the devious decision by the psychopathic U.S. Administration to move the U.S. Israeli embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Anyone who pays attention to this part of the world understands that this decision was intended to increase tensions to a level to precipitate war. With an insane war profiteer like Erik Prince as a business associate, is it a surprise that donald trump would make such a deadly decision? Is it a surprise that he’d step on the necks of people who have been brutalized by a terrorist state for decades, with considerable help from the United States of Corporations? “Kick them when they’re down” is a business model for our Cartoon President and, after all, his world is nothing but business. I’m sure he’s invested plenty of money in the war industry since he moved into the White House.

While Israeli oppressors prepared for violence, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were in Jerusalem to celebrate the action that led to the violence.

According to Haaretz: “The Gaza Health Ministry said 1,113 Gazans were wounded Monday, around 30 of them in critical condition and more than 70 in serious condition. A total of 2,410 Gazans have been wounded in the clashes as a result of Israeli gunfire, tear gas and other crowd dispersal methods.”

Obviously, the inbred Tea Party types who continue to support the imbecile-in chief are celebrating the destruction of innocent lives. We’re making “America” great again, right?

Well, listed below are a few actions that people with a functioning brain and sense of decency in the New York area can participate in to show the rest of the world that not everyone in this country has become a mindless supporter of genocide.

Obviously, there are events happening throughout the country. Please search your area and show support for the many innocent lives lost to the insidious violence of the Israeli “Defense” Forces. The people of the United States have been silent about these atrocities for decades. It’s well past the time to stand up for peace instead of obediently obeying our masters.

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

  1. So much useful information here. Resistance or Bust!

One good thing about Facebook, people put it to good use for events and national town hall meetings.

  2. Some people put it to good use. Most give away personal information to our corporate overlords giving them an additional weapon to sell us things we don’t really need.

On a good note, yes there are good things happening thanks to the people who have been able to resist the corporate indoctrination that is destroying civilization. We need to speak up for those whose voices have been silenced.

    Thanks for commenting. 🙂
