So Strange…

Life is so strange. We have people in prison for decades whose minds are free to roam the universe and who appreciate the simplest truths and the natural beauty of the world.

Then, we have people whose bodies are free to go anywhere and experience virtually everything this world has to offer yet they choose to imprison their minds and souls in cages of fear and desire. They sell their integrity for comfort and convenience. Contentment, peace and balance seem to be nothing more than words in a dictionary to these people. So strange…

Peace and courage to all of the political prisoners still being held by the United States of Corporations simply for choosing to retain their strength and integrity and to stand up for justice instead of selling their souls for a piece of the pie…

Photos of a few high profile political prisoners.

And, let us not forgot those forced to escape the country or who were finally released after pressure from people and organizations…

  1. The Mighty thinks only of securing its power.

  2. And those among the masses who suffer from moral cowardice and indulge in intellectual masturbation allow it to continue unabated. I blame the masses more than the predatory rulers. How can it be natural for people to willingly choose a prison of ignorance and weakness over freedom? At some point people have to be able to see the difference between right and wrong, between kindness and hate, between freedom and mindless obedience. Pathetically obeying morally bankrupt manipulators must eventually lose its appeal. No? It’s being less than human, in my opinion.

    Thanks for the comment.

  3. I think most of the people in prison are political prisoners. For decades, the ruling elite has viewed prison as the most effective solution to surplus workers. With unemployment figures among people soaring above 25-30% and expected to double, this ain’t going to work anymore. They can’t been enough prisons for all unemployed workers. So either they need to find some other solution or the hoards of unemployed will surely dismantle capitalism.

  4. Obviously, I’m rooting for the latter. The dismantling of Capitalism would be a blessing for the entire planet.

    Thanks for the comment.

  5. Important, thought-provoking insights about freedom and imprisonment.

  6. Thank you.

Sadly, though, about 12 people will read this, maybe a couple hundred will read your amazing posts (maybe?) 😀 – but millions will watch a video of a brutal death, millionaires and their playthings or television shows of dysfunctional comedy based on nastiness and intolerance of others.

Hopefully, there will be a raising of vibration and a beautiful awakening before humans destroy the planet. Otherwise, we’ll have to do it all over again.

    Thanks for your kind comment.

  7. You have made such important points about how few people will hear our words, A Shift In Consciousness. But if one of those readers gains something and shares it with others, positive change may ripple out in ever expanding circles. Your always thoughtful and supportive comments make a difference in my life and help me find a reason to keep writing. I’m deeply grateful to you for your kindness and social justice advocacy. 🙂

  8. You’re right, of course. I feel that doing something constructive that could possibly help even one person is worth doing simply because it’s the right thing to do. When people put time and effort into something merely for gain they might attain wealth or fame, but they’re doomed to fail on an energetic level.

I feel honored that my humble words make a difference in your life. I’m a little surprised that such an amazing, beautiful person could be affected so deeply by them. I usually speak from the heart, but sometimes get caught up in intellectual conundrums or in the emotion of the moment.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
